We're looking for a Casual Hospitality Supervisor to join the hospitality team at Nottingham Greyhound Stadium.
This is a great opportunity for someone with supervisory experience who enjoys working in a busy hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. You'll play an important role in supporting the team during race nights and events, helping to ensure our guests receive a professional and welcoming experience.
This is a casual position with varying hours to meet the needs of the business.
Please note:
- Evening availability is essential, as racing takes place every Monday and Friday evening.
- Previous cellar experience is essential.
- Applicants must be able to work throughout the full calendar year, including outside of term-time periods.
Key Responsibilities of a casual hospitality supervisor...
- Deliver excellent customer service in a friendly, efficient and professional manner.
- Supervise and support the hospitality team to ensure high standards are maintained throughout service.
- Lead by example and help create a welcoming environment for guests.
- Serve food and beverages, including wines and bar drinks.
- Advise guests on food and drink choices where required.
- Prepare restaurant and hospitality areas for service and events.
- Maintain stock levels, rotate stock correctly and assist with stocktaking.
- Process payments and operate tills in line with company procedures.
- Ensure all service areas remain clean, safe and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Complete and oversee records such as temperature checks and wastage logs.
- Follow company procedures and licensing regulations at all times.
- Respond to customer queries and resolve issues professionally.

- Previous supervisory experience within hospitality (essential).
- Previous cellar experience (essential).
